What we process and why

Visiting the website

When you open this website, your browser automatically sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time of the request. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and protect it against abuse.

We do not use analytics or session-recording tools on this website.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contacting us by email

The website has no contact forms. If you email us, for example via the "Get in touch" button, we receive your email address, name and whatever you write. We use this only to reply and to follow up on your enquiry.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The hosting infrastructure sets the following technical cookies:

• __cf_bm: set by Cloudflare to distinguish people from automated bots and protect the website. It expires after 30 minutes.
• __dpl: set by the hosting platform to serve a consistent version of the website. It contains a deployment reference that is the same for every visitor, not a personal identifier, and expires after 24 hours.

These cookies are used only to deliver the website securely and reliably. We do not use them to track you or to build profiles.

Fonts and external content

All fonts are served directly from merid.global. The website does not load fonts, videos, maps, social media widgets or other content from third-party services.

Recipients and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our communication:

• Lovable, the platform used to build and host the website.
• Cloudflare, which delivers the website and protects it against attacks.
• Cloudemail, which hosts our mailbox for messages sent to hello@merid.global.

International transfers

Some of these providers operate internationally and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Under the GDPR, such transfers may only take place with appropriate safeguards. For more information about how this applies to a specific provider, contact us at hello@merid.global.

How long we keep data

Technical data is kept only as long as needed for security and operating the website. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted unless we must keep them for legal reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@merid.global.
